An organist in the summer months is usually to be found in a variety of places on a Saturday depending on where the church is. These possibilities include the house, the garden, the shops, the roads, the cricket, the football (as if!), the pub or indeed – like me – the organ bench welcoming a blushing bride into the Kirk. Sadly most of the organ, whilst in the building, wasn’t in the organ so some creative playing was required. Normality wilt return on Friday…

Thoroughly enjoyed time with good friends afterwards. Comparing notes on this utter bitch in our lives called M.E. and Fibromyalgia. Is interesting what symptoms are actually symptoms and not the body throwing a tantrum. It does that too of course, especially now that I am not on speaking terms with most of it! Shoulder is being a pest today, perhaps a strategically placed kitten is needed at bedtime…

Writing, no further forward although I continue to read a great deal. My reading lists for both Stirling University and the OU are vast. Am currently enjoying some young adult fiction looking at society’s view and then their own view of gay teenagers, nicely written with just a touch of SciFi thrown in. The beauty of the book is that it isn’t just another coming out story – the characters are gay, gay kids exist. An important message and a basis for my research into literature. More of that anon.
