Baltic isn’t it? Well, not every day – and this is a massive problem for those of us with immune systems designed by politicians. Bugs are flying around and nosedive one they see me, I will be on antibiotics for the rest of the season…
University, what a wonderful if a tad stressful place. We have the end of term – yay!, and the end of term assignments – d’oh! We also all work well together and meet in small, like-humoured groups to completely assassinatate any and all hopes of any of us being published…. Today’s was superb, just three of us and no tutor. A lot achieved – thanks guys!

Music, well last weekend nearly broke me. Two recitals and a demanding (but very enjoyable) church service. Concert one, a solo, a bit of random accompanying and then my first ever Organ Concerto… It was terrifying and addictive at the same time. This was back on the lovely Linlithgow organ. The service was on a 1997 3m Lammermuir pipe organ – gorgeous church, organ and lovely people. Then a trip to the Kelvingrove to finish me off totally!

Tomorrow is decision day, whether or not to apply for a couple of good non-pvg church organist roles that are currently open. Am meeting at one church first thing to discuss things informally, and to test drive what appears to be an old Lewis pipe organ. I am slightly nervous about going for another role after previous experience.
Off for kitten cuddles and hopefully a deep sleep, 5 alarms set for the morning…
