‘Not’ seems to be the way of things here in Scotland. Do I mind? Well, not really. I miss what used to pass as normality however, this virus continues to scare me into submission. Slow and careful is fine with me Nicola, you go gal!

University is now at the squidgy pants stage – the disssssertation. The word alone has me sweating and reaching for the Archers. At least I have made a start, the title looks fantastic and I have chosen a font…

The local walk 🚶‍♂️

The walks continue and I am blessed/cursed with a lot of thinking time. I am finding writing a challenge however healing can be found through creativity. A spy story and a journal, some smaller projects too.

I am greatly looking forward to the publication of the above project, including my recent short story Brotherhood. We hope that the anthology will be available in print, e-book and audio book. Watch this space!

Above all, this time should be seen as an opportunity to connect with family and friends in new ways, see the world around us in more detail and do those jobs we have left ‘for tomorrow ‘, today. Stay safe, stay well.
