It is quite amusing being in the library and watching it empty when the afternoon lectures start… Those left behind are other undergrads or the postgraduate community.

I was delighted to help a young girl with a couple of links for her 4th year undergrad. dissertation. Being Autistic herself, so I learnt, and being interested in how the autistic brain functioned and objectivity within that. I was able to put her in touch with a lecturer with a strong research interest in autism and faith, a very interesting day that was, and how it can not be compartmentalised.

Ganavan Sands, Oban, Scotland

How we miss the summer, yet Ayr gets it this weekend.  I cannot resist a photo from an Oban holiday though as the weather is dull and more dreary than a party manifesto.

It is intrinsically an autistic trait to see the world differently from ourselves. We should welcome this neurodiversity and rejoice in what these wonderful people give to the world.

In the coming posts you’ll see the balance between church and university, maybe even a snippets of the entire piece.
