New term, the seventh degree…

After a year or so away from, well, life in general; I make an unexpected return to the writing world with the start of a Masters degree in Publishing. One year of intense and challenging work to build up towards starting a PhD next year that has feet in both barrels – publishing and creative writing.

I survived a brief trip with a friend to Englandshire last weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed another opportunity to play at Blackburn Cathedral. Sadly no news as to when the Kelvingrove will start concerts once again, I miss my trips through there.

I am greatly enjoying my time as Director of Music at Bothwell Parish Church in Lanarkshire. I am just hoping, fundraising and praying for a new organ!

I am looking forward to working on my creative writing dissertation once again. Editing and making additions to get ready to publish next year. I even have a new character to introduce!

These two keep me going, as does my Mother who has moved in since my last post. Let’s hope that they forgive me studying again… Stay safe, stay well.
